Professor Stewart Harding

Professorship Stewart Harding graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 1982 and is currently a Professor at BPP University and Dean of The City of London Dental School. Since qualifying, he has held various full and part-time hospital appointments and introduced osseointegrated implants into his restorative and orthodontic practice in 1985. He has successfully placed and restored thousands of implants.

He pioneered postgraduate education for general practitioners wishing to attain recognized training in the area of implant dentistry. He was instrumental in designing and instigating several postgraduate degree programmers in the field. Stewart began delivering implant training programmes in 1992 since he has helped many dentists towards their ultimate goal of introducing implants to their practices. This lead to the development of Masters programmes in 2003 with the The University of Warwick, culminating in recognizing the MSc in Implant Dentistry by the General Dental Council as an additional professional qualification.

In 2010 Stewart founded the City of London Dental school and formed a collaboration in 2011 with BPP University to deliver high quality postgraduate dental education. He wrote 6 MClinDent degree courses covering all the leading dental specialties approved by the University in 2012. These courses have recruited over 200 post students making it the largest and most successful program in the UK. The school offers various levels of postgraduate education from CPD to degree level. He has also helped set up similar postgraduate programmes in Singapore, Dubai, Sudan and Ghana with plans to expand into India and Pakistan.

Stewart has been an Expert witness since 2010 and manages between 50 to 70 cases a year. In particular, he has experience in handling claims against the dentist.

Established in 1990, the Osteo-Ti dental implant system is the largest independently owned British dental implant system. The method continues to evolve, and the company is collaborating with several manufacturers to develop digitally-driven prosthetic protocols.

He is involved in several research projects into the response of bone to substitute bone materials. He authored numerous articles on the subject of implantology, lecturing extensively in Europe, West Indies, India, and Middle and the Far East. Stewart is the developer and inventor of a dental implant system, the most widely used British implant in the UK and has patented several implant applications.

In 2019 the University of Bolton validated 6 MSc (Clin) programmes in various fields of dentistry, which can be attended both full and part-time. These programmes were written and devised by Stewart Harding and are delivered by the City of London Dental School, a private provider of postgraduate dental education.

Dr Theologos Sioutis DDS, MSc

Implantology Faculty

Dr. Sioutis received his Dental Surgeon degree from the University of Athens. He obtained a Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry at the University Of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Furthermore, he has been awarded the MSc in Aesthetic Medicine by Queen Mary University in London. He has attended numerous postgraduate courses on Implants, Bone grafting, Veneers, Aesthetic Dentistry, Invisalign Orthodontics, Fillers and Botox. In 2019 he became a platinum provider for INVISALIGN teeth straightening system.

Dr. Sioutis has over 15 years of clinical experience with more than 3000 implants placed, vast surgical experience in sinus lift procedures, block -grafts, bone regeneration techniques implant-prosthetic rehabilitation, aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Dr. Sioutis is listed on the General Dental Council and the Athens Dental Association.
Dr. Sioutis is always keen to share his knowledge and experience and has a clear philosophy regarding education and clinical practice that can be summarized into every day-evidence based-for, everyone.
Every day is about simplicity so that it can be easily learned and integrated into daily practice. Evidence-based is about using techniques and learning skills that are supported by scientific evidence, not just marketing.Everyone is about being able to grow your patient base and be a valuable member of the community.
Currently, he is the Dental Director at MyHealthcare Clinic group, based in London, with three clinics offering the full range of dental treatments.

In his free time, he is married, and he enjoys both home and free time with his wife and two sons.

Dr. Serafeim Petousis DDS, MSc

Implantology Faculty

Cert Clin Imp (Lond), MSc Dent Implant, aesthetic and restorative dentistry (Lond present). Serafeim Petousis received his degree in Dentistry in 2000. The City of London Dental School has awarded him a Certificate Clinical Practice of Implant Dentistry. He is currently completing the MSc in Implant, Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry offered by the University of Bolton and City of London Dental School.

Dr. Petousis has attended many post-graduate courses and is continually developing his skills. Currently learning the latest Implant techniques and perfecting his current methods of treatment in contemporary dentistry through education.
He has worked in many dental clinics in various settings across Athens and London, treating patients with diverse dental needs. He has a distinct interest in smile design, teeth whitening, crowns and bridges, veneers, and cosmetic resin bonding, especially in dental implants. He stated his interest regarding aspects of clinical negligence, ethics and consent, ensuring patients at the practice get the best health care service available.
Dr. Petousis is passionate about dentistry and always wants to share his knowledge and experience with colleagues.
